Podcast | Preview
Firstly, as long as everything goes to plan, I should be able to make our recording session this weekend, meaning that our podcast should go ahead as planned. Awesome. Therefore our episode should be live to listen, stream and download on Sunday 22nd November.
Moreover, we have decided on a name for our next episode and it is: "The Police: A Force or a Service?" During the episode we are going to be discussing our views on our generations relationship with the police, as well as the general state of affairs following a number of riots in the Anglo-American world across the last few years. Furthermore, when coming up with the title, Moose also mentioned that nowadays the British police were to be referred to as a "service" rather than a "force" in order to engender the public. We'll hopefully chat about whether that has been a success, and will aim to answer whether we think the police are a force or a service. I feel like I’m being very cagey on the topics we will cover but as always with the patient approach, you never know what questions we’ll end up answer or how deeply into the topic we’ll get. We’re like the tale of the tortoise and the hare, only there isn’t a hare…and come to think of it there isn’t a race either!
In any case we'll see how it goes, and regardless of how we much we meander and digress it should be a meaty discussion all the same. I am very much looking forward to it. Nervous farts will be aplenty, as we try to be professional for a change.
